Trani, the Cathedral on the sea

Trani is about 85 kilometers far from Polignano a Mare. It’s well known for its artistic and architectural beauties, which call back a glorious past. The Cathedral is the most prestigious building of the town: is an example of Puglia’s Romanic architecture. Was built using calcareous stone, typical of that geographic area: is Trani’s stone, dig from the city quarry, characterized by a very light pink color.
